About Me

From law school to teaching to managing campgrounds, most of my life has been dedicated to the art of the "pitch."

When my own kiddos were young, our family began a journey to visit every U.S. national park. We have achieved our goal, but what we didn't expect was the way it would inspire our love of all things outdoors. (Well, maybe not mountain biking...yet!)

Between backpacking, hiking, fishing, rafting and wildlife viewing, we pretty much love it all these days.

As we go deeper and deeper into the wilderness, we enjoy hiring guides and learning from other outdoor enthusiasts. 

Guides Fly Lines is my attempt to give back to the guiding community.
